Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a safety officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct site inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience with ISO standards and be responsible for risk assessments, incident reporting, and conducting safety briefings. Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 systems.
• Possess own transport (an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety provisions on sites are maintained in accordance with the WSH Act & regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance and proper documentation.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures.
• Assist in planning and preparing safety equipment for site use.
• Conduct periodic safety briefings.
• Report incidents and accidents to management.
• Maintain project accident statistics.
• Perform other supervision and routine tasks assigned by the corporate management team.
