Job summary

JIAN XIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the cost and budgeting aspects of construction projects from planning through operation and demolition. You will oversee financial controls and work with clients and contractors to keep projects on budget.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within construction, with strong cost estimation, tendering, and reporting skills. Singapore-based on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant experience of at least 3 years.
• Experience in construction projects is required.
• Ability to manage costs and budgets across project life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Rice/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
• Measure and value the work done on site
• Pay subcontractors
• Liaise with the client and other construction professionals
• Select and/or source construction materials
• Write reports.
