Job summary

Lindner Facades Asia Pte Ltd (LFA) in Singapore seeks a Project Manager for overseeing planning and all project operations. The role includes travel to project sites, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of complex steel and glass facade projects.

Need 15+ years of experience in building envelopes, ability to lead teams, and strong cost-awareness. Salary commensurate with experience; relocation and travel expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar capacity with extensive knowledge in steel, glass and building envelopes.
• Ability to manage and lead a project team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage project progress and meet the schedule.
• Lead the team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.
• Control operational costs to keep projects within budget.
• Maintain site document filing and record keeping per ISO standards.
• Develop new, site-specific and technical solutions.
• Monitor compliance with workplace safety regulations and ensure quality of delivery.
• Achieve performance targets for costs, quality, and schedule.
• Liaise with Construction team, technical and commercial teams at headquarters and with clients.

Lindner Facades Asia Pte Ltd (LFA) was successful lyre-launched in May 2019, as part of the Lindner Steel & Glass operation. Located in Singapore, LFA will be used as a base to promote and secure projects for LFA and Lindner Group in the vast and promising Asian market.

Our projects will cover the Asian markets, which include India, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Enquires have also been received from Cambodia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

LFA offers pre-sales consultation and planning advice, design and engineering, project management and planning, fabrication and installation. Employing a team of highly skilled, well-trained and extensive experience when it comes to LFA’S unique selling point in delivering turnkey projects with complex steel and glass, facades, skylights, curtain wall and building envelopes.

Roles and responsibilities

The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/she manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. He/she must have good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.

• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to meet project schedule.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.
• Manage operational costs to keep costs within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.
• To develop new, site-specific and technical solutions.
• Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.-~ Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Familiar with performance targets and responsible for achieving and completing all performance targets to meet completion schedule in terms of costs, performance, time and quality.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Construction team, technical and commercial team at headquarters in Germany and the client.

Qualification

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines

Requirements

• Min 15 years of experience in similar capacity withextensive knowledge in steel, glass and building envelopes.
• Must have the competency to manage and lead project team.
• Solid financial know-how, craftsmanship and a strongawareness of costs.
• Experience in the field of technical building services would be an advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.
• Salary to commensurate with experience and qualifications.
