Job description

1. Lead Project planning and project management. Oversee project execution, monitor site progress and ensure on-time completion of projects.

2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and latest WSH Act provisions at all times.

3. Ensure cost control and project completion within budget, utilization of resources and schedule.

4. Liaise with client's representatives with regards to all site matters, attend site meetings if required.

5. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

6. Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project/program effectiveness.

7. Lead and mentor the team by setting in place guidelines and procedures, providing advice and supervision.

8. Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

9. Ensure that organization and government standards on safety are met and ensure customer safety and quality specifications are consistently met.

10. Coordinate with the clients, sub-contractors and consultants on all project matters.

11. Familiar with Authority submissions and regulatory requirements.

12. Ensure site team of engineers, supervisors, foremen and workers comply with client and regulatory requirements.

13. Assist management in monitoring the effectiveness of the risk control measures.

14. Recommend appropriate risk control measures to reduce or eliminate the risk identified in assessment.

15. Together with QS department to award subcontractor.

16. Assist in ad-hoc tender for technical proposal submission.

17. All other ad hoc duties assigned.
