A construction management firm in Singapore is seeking a responsible professional to manage site profitability, supervise workers, and coordinate project activities. Responsibilities

• Responsible for allocated site profitability.
• Supervise a group of workers and supervisors at the site.
• Liaise with the sales department in handling secured jobs.
• Coordinate with drafters for submission to MNE and architects.
• Negotiate variation orders to improve profitability.
• Ensure funds inflow aligns with outflow for the site.
• Maintain rapport with developers, architects, and consultants.
• Ensure site work progress aligns with the project schedule.
• Attend site walk-arounds when required.
• Provide hands-on training to new workers.
• Implement site safety in accordance with regulations.
• Identify strengths of workers and recommend upgrades.
• Submit and monitor monthly progress payments.

Job description

* Submit and negotiate variation orders (VO) to improve profitability.

* Ensure funds inflow against outflow for the allocated site.

* Maintain rapport with developers, architects, and M&E consultants.

* Ensure that work progress at the site aligns with the project schedule.

* Preferably have experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

* Possess at least a Class 3 driving license.

* Attend site walk-arounds when required.

* Be IT savvy, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Provide hands-on training, especially to new workers.

* Implement site safety in accordance with MOM regulations.

* Identify workers' strengths and recommend upgrades for deserving ones.

* Submit and monitor monthly progress payments.
