Job summary

S TECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented construction cost professional to prepare detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects. You will review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to determine project costs.

You will obtain quotations, monitor expenditure, prepare tender documents and cost reports, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction requirements to determine project costs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and identify cost variations.
• Prepare tender documents, cost comparisons, and financial evaluation reports.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and verify measurements for construction works.
• Track material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs throughout the project.
• Assess variation orders, claims, and additional works and provide cost recommendations.
• Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and cash-flow projections for management.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure effective cost control.
