About the role

As a Construction Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of construction, from planning and budgeting to supervising on-site operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely project completion

• Oversee and coordinate the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient workflow

• Monitor construction progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise

• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to provide input and resolve technical challenges

• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, communicating project status, challenges, and mitigation strategies

• Assist with the development and implementation of quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a construction management role, preferably as main contractor

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish

• Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances

• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

• Proficient in using project management software and other relevant construction industry tools

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Recognized universities under the BCA is a plus.
