Job description

Job Summary (General Nature / Objectives of the Job):
The Site Manager oversees and manages the entire construction site operations. They ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. The role involves managing contractors, ensuring site safety, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all site activities align with the overall project plan.


Key Responsibilities and Activities:

  1. Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day site activities to meet project objectives.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and site personnel.
  3. Ensure that construction activities adhere to approved designs, schedules, and budgets.
  4. Monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues or potential delays.
  6. Manage the logistics of material delivery and storage, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  7. Liaise with project stakeholders (clients, engineers, architects) and provide progress updates.
  8. Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed on-site.
  9. Prepare and submit site progress reports and documentation to the project management team.

  2. Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  3. Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  4. Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Formal Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Major Study/Specialist (Education):

  1. Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.

Experience Required:

  1. 5–10 years of experience in construction site management, including managing large-scale projects, with preference for LTA project experience.
  2. Proven experience in leading site teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing construction schedules and budgets.
