Job Description:
• Lead all construction activities of ADAS projects from planning through execution, ensuring high performance in quality, safety, and timeline.
• Coordinate closely with Clients, Consultants, Project Leaders, Managers, Coordinators, Administrators, Fabricators, and Installers to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Oversee and monitor all onsite and offsite work to ensure compliance with project specifications and timeline, including regular local and overseas site visits.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and obtain necessary approvals for any out-of-scope expenditures from the Head of Operations and/or CEO.
• Manage variation orders effectively, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with the Contract team to implement claims strategies.
• Conduct in-depth reviews of project information, drawings and specifications to maintain project work schedules, allocate resources and manage workflows between internal departments.
• Participate in the evaluation of suitability of subcontractors.
• Liaise with appointed subcontractors and other suppliers in relation to the work programme and workmanship.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
• Drive coordination meetings to ensure milestones are achieved and drive seamless project delivery.
• Review and verify construction drawings in collaboration with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Detailers, and site teams.
• Analyze project plans and technical proposals to align execution strategies with project goals.
• Ensure thorough documentation of project activities to safeguard ADAS’s contractual and operational interests.
• Prepare and review safe work method statements for site installation work.
• Liaise with safety personnel to undertake risk assessments and enforce strict compliance with all safety protocols, site safety and risk mitigation.
• Contribute to tender processes by providing technical insights and construction methodologies to support project acquisition.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience in steel installation and structural works is essential.
At least 5 years in a construction management role, ideally within specialized or complex construction environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and multi-disciplinary setting.
Willingness to travel for project supervision, including overseas assignments.
