Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced project manager to lead and coordinate construction and renovation works. You will manage site staff, attend meetings with clients, and ensure project milestones are met. Candidates must have 7-10 years in project management, strong presentation skills, and be able to articulate well.

Qualifications

  • Min 7-10 years of relevant experiences in project management and supervision.
  • Confident with good presentation skill.
  • Good reading & writing skill and able to articulate well.

Responsibilities
  • Candidate must be able to lead, plan, coordinate and execute construction, renovation, Aluminium works, Fire Prevention & Protection Systems works, A&A, infrastructure Improvement and upgrading related works.
  • Attend / Conduct project meetings with operation team / clients / consultants, contractors etc.
  • Oversee Site Manager and Draftsman to ensure all projects are executed smoothly from pre-construction stage, design stage, construction stage till post-construction stage.
  • Conduct preliminary site feasibility studies and recommend feasible planning proposal for each project.
  • Monitor progress to ensure each planned milestone target is met
  • Prepare cost estimates based on clients’ needs.
  • Evaluate sub-contractor / supplier’s quotation, cost and invoices
  • Provide cash-flow projection and evaluate contractor’s monthly progressive payment claim.
  • Identify the bottle-necks of various activities or possible delays. Recommend ways and means to resolve them.
  • Ensure timely submissions of all variation orders, its valuations and final account closure.
  • Conduct monthly Building inspection.
