A civil engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee daily project activities, communicate with clients, and manage coordination with contractors and suppliers. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills and experience in ensuring safety compliance. This role requires effective problem-solving abilities and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Oversee, supervise, and coordinate daily project activities, including installation and collaboration with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure seamless coordination and communication with clients regarding site progress, execution, and coordination matters.
• Monitor and track project schedules, ensuring timely completion by resolving issues and coordinating activities effectively.
• Determine and sequence project elements by analyzing project plans, specifications, and time requirements.
• Monitor, validate, and control additional costs or variation orders, submitting them for approval to the Project Manager.
• Review design, specifications, and schedule changes, recommending necessary actions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure all safety documentation is in place and issue work permits in collaboration with the Project Engineer and site safety officer.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing internal procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to state regulations and company policies to uphold project and company reputation.
• Manage and coordinate vendors and suppliers during the commissioning and testing of equipment and systems, with support from commissioning and project engineers.
