The role involves evaluating business processes, providing CAD software support, and managing IT projects. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, focusing on system integrations and technical support.
Evaluating construction business processes and project workflows, anticipating technology requirements, identifying areas for digital transformation, and implementing IT solutions to improve operational efficiency on project sites and in back-office functions.
Conducting requirements analysis specifically for construction management systems (e.g., project scheduling, cost estimation, contract management).
Documenting functional and technical specifications, and communicating findings and proposals to project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Gathering critical input from stakeholders such as project directors, site supervisors, procurement officers, and finance teams, and translating them into actionable IT requirements and reports.
Providing technical support for CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software used in architectural and engineering drawings, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-related tools; assisting with installation, licensing, integration, and troubleshooting.
Supporting integration of CAD drawings with project management systems (e.g., linking drawings to project schedules, RFIs, and procurement workflows).
Good knowledge of integration methodologies (file-based, API) across construction ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle Primavera, Procore), including encryption/decryption concepts and SFTP connectivity for secure project data exchange.
Ability to debug and modify automation scripts used in construction project data processing (batch, PowerShell), and schedule/report them using job management tools like Control-M.
Hands-on experience with IT Service Management in the construction environment, supporting operational services using tools like ServiceNow for issue resolution and change management.
Experience in integrating with banking/payment systems for handling vendor payments, subcontractor settlements, and automated bank reconciliation (e.g., using MT940/CAMT053 formats).
Skilled in handling secure file transfers between project partners and contractors using SFTP/FTP, with strong knowledge of SSH keys and encryption standards.
Capable of developing integrations between core enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore) with other internal or external systems for project data exchange, procurement, and financial reconciliation.
Knowledge of financial modules as applied to construction projects—handling General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Banking, including cost center and project-based accounting.
Understanding of enterprise procurement in construction, including sourcing vendors, purchase orders for materials/equipment, delivery tracking, and subcontractor invoice matching.
Supporting and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for construction software rollouts or system enhancements.
Managing IT projects within the construction domain, including software deployment, integration efforts, and performance monitoring.
Providing support during the deployment of non-core construction applications (e.g., document management, compliance, safety systems).
Troubleshooting IT issues across non-construction-specific applications used in corporate support functions such as HR, Finance, or Admin.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer related field from a recognised University, with 6 years of related work experience.
