Joyre TCMedi Spa is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to assist in preparing authentic Chinese confinement dishes. The role requires managing kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. Candidates should have a strong background in Chinese cuisine and be able to lead a kitchen team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the head chef in preparing Chinese confinement dishes.
Manage kitchen operations, food quality, and daily inventory.
Ensure food hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards are met.
Help with menu planning, cost control, and recipe development.
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with SOPs.
Support daily purchasing and check the quality of ingredients.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Chinese cuisine; confinement experience preferred.
Good knowledge of Chinese herbs and confinement practices.
Able to work independently and lead a kitchen team.
Familiar with food safety standards (e.g. HACCP).
Able to work 6 days a week.
Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
