Conference Director – Asia (Production Background)

$120-150,000 + Bonus

Singapore

My client is seeking a passionate, dynamic and experienced Conference Director to oversee and manage all aspects of our production including a team across one of their major portfolio brands. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of producers to develop and deliver high quality conferences generating high revenue annually.

You will be in charge of driving the growth strategy, ensuring the efficient and successful execution of production plans, constantly raising quality standards, and optimising resources to achieve production targets. Your exceptional leadership skills and industry knowledge will be instrumental in driving the success of our team. It will also be essential that you can inspire the wider cross- functional teams and help support and drive their success.

You will be responsible for liaising with cross functional stakeholders across the company, to ensure that your event portfolio reaches its full commercial potential. It is a varied and rewarding leadership role.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Product Direction – identifying trends & innovations within the customer experience space

• Developing a high performing conference production team through the provision of clear direction and guidance to support your team throughout the production process

• Collaborating with various project teams to ensure both the commercial success & smooth execution of each event

• P&L responsibility to drive the portfolio’s financial performance

Experience, Skills & Attributes we are looking for:

• Min 4+ years Conference Production experience

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire and grow a team

• Proven track record in planning & executing multiple simultaneous projects

• An ability to directly influence research and speaker acquisition campaigns for your producers

• An effective communicator, both verbally and on a written basis

• Self-motivated with great time management skills

• Intellectually curious with a willingness to learn about new topics

• Effective collaborator and team player
