Job summary

The SIT x NVIDIA AI Centre (SNAIC) at the Singapore Institute of Technology seeks a highly motivated Research Fellow/Engineer to join a strategic collaboration with Procter & Gamble (P&G). The project aims to develop next-generation AI for concept-driven video understanding from consumer facial care videos.

You will work with researchers from SNAIC, NVIDIA, and P&G to design novel AI methods using Vision AI, Multimodal AI and Foundation Models, publish findings at top conferences, and mentor

Qualifications

• PhD/MSc/BSc in CS, AI, EE or related field.
• Strong research background in CV, ML, DL, video understanding or multimodal AI.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Hands-on with PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers and OpenCV.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in Computer Vision, Video Understanding, and Multimodal AI.
• Design AI models for concept-driven video understanding.
• Collaborate with PI and industry partner to develop AI solutions.
• Develop algorithms for fine-grained video understanding, concept learning, and temporal reasoning.
• Fine-tune Foundation Models and Vision-Language Models for domain use.
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines for video analytics and deployment.
• Publish findings in top AI conferences and journals.
• Mentor graduate students and support SNAIC activities.
