Job summary

Uncommon Studio in Singapore is seeking an Interior Designer to support the design process by developing concepts, sourcing materials, coordinating site activities, and preparing design documentation. You will collaborate with clients and senior designers to deliver exceptional design solutions.

The role involves preparing mood boards, technical drawings, and design presentations while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Candidate from a reputable design program is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, design sensibility and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts and translate client ideas into detailed sketches and plans.
• Research and select furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes meeting aesthetics and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to verify adherence to design specs and resolve on-site challenges.
• Collaborate with senior designers to understand client needs and contribute to delivering design solutions.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards and technical drawings for approvals.
• Manage multiple design tasks with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Communicate design ideas clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Demonstrate proactive attitude and teamwork.
