Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all daily tasks for Production Operations.
• Monitor and execute production batch jobs, ensuring timely completion
• Investigating jobs that are behind schedule.
• Responding promptly to abnormal job terminations.
• Following rerun instructions and escalation protocols.
• Engaging application and infrastructure support teams when necessary.
• Schedule AS400/Open System batch processing using automated scheduling tools such as Robot Scheduler, Zena, and promotion tools.
• Ensure Service Deliverymeets established guidelines.
• Ensure proper Logging & Reporting, including the timely completion of problem tickets and operational logs in line with Maybank standards.
• Perform System Monitoring by observing system monitors and consoles, and escalate errors/issues promptly as required.
• Ensure all run logs are properly recorded and signed off on time.
• Follow up on problem tickets, adhere to change management instructions, and escalate issues to the appropriate groups as defined in operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Studies (or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in running 24x7 production operations.
• Strong knowledge of platforms, networks, monitoring tools (Robot Console, Robot Alert), and job scheduling tools (Robot Scheduler, Zena).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
