Job summary

A leading company in the drilling industry is seeking a qualified Drafting Specialist to develop shop drawings, prepare documentation, and participate in project management activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of relevant experience in drafting for various construction disciplines, along with strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit. Job description

1) Develop detailed shop drawings in accordance with relevant standards as requested.

2) Prepare drawings following project or company's standard practices for documentation.

3) Update drawings according to Design & Document Control procedures.

4) Check and review drawings and illustrations before submission to ensure correctness and compliance with company and project standards.

5) Participate in project management activities such as attending site meetings with designers and clients. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience drafting for MEP, Civil & Structural, Architectural, or Interior Decoration works.

6) Must have competency in AutoCAD.

7) Knowledge of mechanical, assembly, and installation drawings is a plus.

8) Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

9) Fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.

10) Provide CAD drafting, BIM modeling, and design support.

11) Coordinate and manage Revit models.

12) Create Revit families and CAD blocks.

13) Receive work assignments for specific design elements or CAD drafting from project managers.

14) Review all work for completeness and accuracy.

15) Use checklists for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.

16) Provide an accurate record of time spent on projects with descriptions for each entry on a weekly basis.

17) Complete printing and plotting requests.

18) Observe professional ethics.

19) Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new digital design tools.
