GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

1. Set up and operate all types of conventional or CNC machines such as electrical discharge machine, laser machine, lathe, radial grinder, reciprocal grinder, milling machine, drilling machine, and specialized equipment to perform machining operations of complex nature in the making of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges, test equipment, product parts, and their rework or modifications.

2. Follow a particular product through the machine shop using various machine tools to complete the finished product.

3. Use all types of standard and special gauges, and various hand tools.

4. Maintain pertinent records; work according to technical drawings and instructions.

5. Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum GCE 'O' level with relevant experience in Machining and CNC Machining.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with 3 years of relevant experience; or

• Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or equivalent; or

• Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering.

Skills and Attributes:

• Good mechanical aptitude.

• Knowledge in CNC programming.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.

• Ability to use measuring instruments.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Team player.
