Job summary

Smith Singapore Warehouse is seeking a hands-on IT hardware technician. You will sort, repair, test and troubleshoot electronics, configure products to specs, and generate discrepancy reports for customers.

You’ll liaise with Inventory, Production Control, Supply Chain and Sales to resolve technical issues while upholding ESD and quality standards. Ideal candidates have prior IT hardware assembly/testing experience with Dell or HP, plus certifications such as CNA/CCNA/A+/MCSA/MTA/Server+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior IT hardware assembly/testing experience (Dell/HP).
• Certifications: CNA, CCNA, A+, MCSA, MTA, Server+, Network+.
• SAP or SAP ByDesign experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Access database experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort, repair, test and hands-on troubleshoot electronic hardware (servers, network equipment, computers).
• Configure products to customer specifications.
• Generate discrepancy reports.
• Provide customer technical support.
• Interface with Inventory, Production Control, Supply Chain and Sales to resolve issues.
