Job summary

BRIGHT POINT CAPITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance & Operations Intern in Singapore to support day-to-day KYC/CDD, onboarding, filings, audits, and monitoring.

You will assist with regulatory records and daily trading operations, helping maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with internal teams and external service providers. The role welcomes fresh graduates or candidates with relevant compliance or financial services experience, offering exposure to trading

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day compliance activities, including KYC/CDD and counterparty onboarding.
• Assist with regulatory filings, audits, and internal controls.
• Support daily trading operations including trade checks and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate compliance and operational documentation; coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.
• Support general office administration and process improvements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day compliance activities, including but not limited to KYC/CDD, counterparty onboarding, compliance monitoring and maintenance of regulatory records.
• Assist with regulatory filings, audits, compliance reviews, internal controls, training and other compliance initiatives.
• Support daily trading operations, including trade checks, reconciliations, settlement monitoring and resolution of operational discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate compliance and operational documentation and coordinate with internal teams, counterparties and external service providers.
• Support general office administration, process improvements and other compliance and operational projects as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant compliance, operations or financial services experience are welcome.
• Detail-oriented, organised and analytical, with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong academic track record with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Prior internship or exposure to compliance, trading operations, financial markets, or fund management.
• Good understanding of financial markets and a genuine interest in the trading/investment industry.
• Proactive and intellectually curious, with the ability to learn quickly and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Comfortable working with data and technology; proficiency in Excel and familiarity with AI or automation tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with sound judgement, integrity, and the confidence to raise issues when necessary.
