Job description

  • Oversee the compliance framework across Singapore operations to ensure alignment with local laws and international regulations (e.g. sanctions, AML/CFT)
  • Review, update, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead internal audits, investigations, and incident management relating to compliance breaches or misconduct.
  • Deliver regular compliance training across departments, including Code of Conduct, whistleblowing, anti-bribery, and conflict of interest.
  • Conduct and approve third-party due diligence checks for vendors, agents, and trading partners.
  • Monitor developments in regulatory and industry compliance requirements and provide guidance to senior management.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports and risk assessments to internal stakeholders and regulators.
  • Lead or support ESG compliance and sustainability reporting as required by clients or local authorities.
  • Oversee trade compliance matters, including customs controls, restricted items, and dual-use goods, where relevant.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, HR, operations, and finance teams to embed a culture of compliance across the organisation.
