Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design, review and maintain Bank’s technology risk management framework and strategy in according to MAS and Head Office requirements. Liaise and coordinate with IT Department on the Bank’s technology risk management related activities.
  2. Oversee and monitor the bank-wide technology risk in line with MAS' and Head Office requirements as the second line of defense via risk and control assessment, key risk indicators monitoring etc.
  3. Follow up and provide guidance to IT Department (the first line of defense) on technology risk related requirements/rectifications issued by the regulator and internal/external auditors.
  4. Perform technology risk review and testing from the second line of defense’s perspective.
  5. Guide the various departments in the identification, assessment and mitigation of the technology risks by providing trainings and advisories from the second line of defense’s perspective to create staff awareness.
  6. Prepare technology risk management related dashboards, reports and using data analytics for regulatory and/or management reporting.
  7. Handle technology risk related ad-hoc projects where necessary.
  8. Provide guidance to BU on the regulatory requirements on technology outsourcing matters

Job Requirement:

  1. Professional Certification would be advantageous with Degree holders
  2. Familiar with the MAS requirements, notices, guidelines related to Operational Risk Management (ORM). Able to provide advice on ORM and relevant MAS requirements. Familiar with banking products.
  3. In-depth understanding of the MAS requirements on Technology Risk Management Guidelines. Able to provide advice on TRM and relevant MAS requirements. Familiar with banking products.
  4. Able to work independently and work effectively with various stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and possess statistical skills. Dedicated and excellent multitasking skills. Excellent team work.
  5. Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
