Job description

Compliance Lead at Capital Group

As a Technology, Infosec, and Privacy Compliance Lead, you will collaborate closely with legal, business units, Technology, InfoSec, the Global Privacy Office, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures supporting regulatory compliance for Capital Group’s Technology, InfoSec, Privacy, and Resiliency programs.

Your responsibilities include understanding global regulatory environments, assessing compliance obligations, and working with teams to meet these requirements. You will design, review, and implement documents, measures, and training materials, support audits and exams, analyze issues, and develop solutions. Success in this role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication, time management, attention to detail, and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, etc.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Technology compliance or related fields.
  • Preferred experience in asset management or financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, data privacy, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIPP/e, CIPM, CIPT, or CDPP are advantageous; a JD or master’s degree is a plus.
Leadership and Planning Skills
  • Ability to plan processes and projects across diverse groups to ensure timely completion.
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff and managing work effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead projects across multiple teams, document milestones, and communicate updates proactively. Resource management skills are essential.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will be eligible for annual performance bonuses, profit-sharing, and a retirement plan with a 15% contribution from Capital Group.
