Job description

Our client is an expanding financial advisory firm in Singapore. They are seeking a new Compliance Executive to join their Risk and Compliance department. As the Compliance Executive, you will ensure that the company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals. The Compliance Executive will be reporting to the Head of Compliance.

This is an in-person role with the workplace located in the Kallang area, Singapore. Hybrid working arrangement may be discussed with the supervisor.

Jobs Responsibilities

  • Support the Risk and Compliance department

  • Perform responsibilities to ensure company complies with regulatory requirements which includes balanced scorecard audits, regulatory reporting, misconductinvestigation and administrative support

  • Motivated to stay abreast of regulatory developments and take charge ofcommunicating the changes and support implementation; not limited to Financial Advisers Act, Personal Data Protection Act.

  • Conduct due diligence on new business relationships and support on-going duediligence requirements from business partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 'A' level or Diploma with experience in the financial advisory industry.

  • Having a compliance qualification or experience in the FA or insurance industry will be an advantage

  • Familiar and skillful with the use of Microsoft software, especially Excel.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with different stakeholders.

  • Diligent, able to work independently and under pressure.

  • Willing to learn, positive attitude, curious, adaptability to the organisational culture and a team player.
