About the Department

The department focuses on data infrastructure, model development, deployment, and validation to support Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) initiatives and AML risk management.

Responsibilities

  1. Data Infrastructure and Pipeline:
  • Create, build, and maintain infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
  • Deliver high-quality, production-ready data pipelines for AFC model building.
  • Implement data quality monitoring processes and optimize data pipelines.
  • Design or evaluate tools for data lineage mapping.
  • Ensure accurate data flow between systems.
  • Support Model Development and Deployment:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify suitable data for AFC models.
    • Ensure data sets meet business requirements for model building.
    • Assist Data Scientists by providing data insights and requirements.
    • Support testing and validation of models and outputs.
    • Create deployment pipelines and coordinate with teams to ensure models are production-ready.
    • Facilitate seamless deployment of analytics solutions without disrupting operations.
  • Enhancement and Support:
    • Design and implement data process improvements for reliability and scalability.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot data issues.
    • Support migration to new production environments if necessary.
  • Team Contributions:
    • Support validation standards and procedures for models.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards, proposing updates as needed.
    • Maintain validation calendars and conduct independent model validations.
    • Review model development steps, code accuracy, and data usage.
    • Produce reports on validation findings and model performance for management.
    • Participate in review panels and other delegated tasks by the validation lead.

    Other tasks may be assigned by the Country Head of Compliance as needed.
