Job description

Our Local Programs and Regulatory Compliance team is responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in the countries where we operate.

The Compliance Analyst will be based in Singapore and report to the Singapore Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer ("MLRO") / Deputy MLRO ("DMLRO"). The role involves supporting the team’s Financial Crime Compliance operations, including transaction monitoring, travel rule compliance, suspicious transaction reporting, KYC/EDD reviews, law enforcement requests, and other compliance projects. Additionally, you will assist the Group’s Compliance function in maintaining robust policies and controls across all regulated businesses of Crypto.com, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards, and managing operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.

Responsibilities

1. Support the implementation and execution of the Singapore Compliance programme, focusing on AML/CFT and Transaction Monitoring;
2. Liaise with internal teams (Legal, Payments, IT Security, Assurance, etc.), external stakeholders, and law enforcement agencies regarding Compliance queries;
3. Ensure operational excellence in compliance tasks and support the Singapore Compliance team in maintaining regulatory obligations;
4. Review KYC/CDD, EDD, Transaction Monitoring, and escalate AML/CFT issues as needed;
5. Review digital tokens against internal procedures and regulatory guidelines before listing;
6. Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from law enforcement and partner financial institutions;
7. Support regulatory audits and quality assurance reviews;
8. Develop technical knowledge related to the regulatory framework;
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by MLRO/DMLRO.

Requirements

• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations in Singapore, especially Payment Services (PS) Act, its subsidiary legislations, and relevant notices (e.g., PSN01, PSN02); regulatory compliance experience is a plus but not mandatory;
• 1-3 years of experience in compliance operations roles (CDD/EDD, Transaction Monitoring), preferably within Payments or Digital Payment Token industry; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome;
• Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools like Chainalysis and Merkle Science is advantageous;
• Experience with compliance screening tools such as LexisNexis, Refinitiv (WorldCheck); familiarity with handling regulatory returns and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) is a plus;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail;
• CAMS or similar Financial Crime Compliance certification is a plus but not required;
• Self-motivated, critical thinker, team player, eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
