Job Description

  1. Role Purpose:

    Competency Specialist - Early Career Programs will work with the Life Cycle Services Business Unit to support early career programs and deliver technical training to internal employees. The Lifecycle Services Business Unit focuses on developing people by upgrading their technical skills and capabilities through trainings and talent development programs. The major KPI of this role is to deliver technical training courses on Rockwell Automation technologies and support the training manager in managing & delivering early career programs & competency development of employees across Asia Pacific LCS.
  2. What is expected to do:

    Responsibilities include technical training delivery for early career employees at Singapore Training Facility, coordinating training schedules with the Global RAU team, supporting early career program execution, organizing training resources, driving learning culture, maintaining training facilities, and supporting logistics for international participants.
  3. Coordinate with logistics teams for visa and accommodation arrangements for traveling participants.
  4. Work with the Training Manager to identify productivity improvements and support new projects.
  5. Understand and support the organization’s competency framework and management initiatives.
  6. Collaborate with the Global RAU team to implement global training modules and develop new curriculum as needed.
  7. Support tasks related to training and competency development.

  12. SKEE (Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Education) Expectations:
  13. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science with at least 7+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Projects, Services, or Training Delivery.
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  15. Accountability, quick action, collaboration, adaptability, continuous learning, interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and coaching abilities.
  16. Technical Knowledge Expectations:
  17. Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation products & technology, including control platforms, software, safety systems, drives, and networking.
  18. Ability to relate theoretical knowledge with practical industrial applications.

Rockwell Automation's hybrid policy expects employees to work at a Rockwell location at least on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless otherwise required by business obligations.
