Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to oversee Distribution Channel Compensation accounting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in relevant accounting functions and a sound understanding of accounting principles. Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage Distribution Channel Compensation accounting, including payment processing, posting, reconciliation, and general ledger closing in line with accounting guidelines.
• Administer deferred and long-term incentive schemes while maintaining accurate records, SOPs, and risk registers.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal, external, and regulatory audits related to Distribution Compensation.
• Support system enhancements, projects, and UAT for compensation-related initiatives, ensuring accurate documentation and issue resolution.
• Handle daily compensation queries, tax filings (IRAS), GST self-billing, and other BAU activities to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Distribution Compensation or related accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in financial systems and tools; experience with Life Asia, Group Asia, or similar platforms is an advantage.
