St Luke's ElderCare is seeking a dedicated Laundry Staff to manage the full cycle of laundry operations at the residence, ensuring clean clothing and linen for residents. You will collect, wash, dry, sort, and deliver items while maintaining proper records and hygiene.

The role requires basic IT for documentation, willingness to work rotating shifts, and strong teamwork with good communication. Training will be provided, with emphasis on safety and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with washing machine and dryer operations, including simple maintenance
• Willing to work rotating shifts
• Basic IT knowledge to support documentation and tracking
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and carry out assigned duties reliably

Responsabilités

• Collect soiled clothes and linen, wash, dry, sort, and deliver them back to households
• Record and report clothing or linen requiring replacement, including inventory management
• Perform terminal cleaning of washing machines and dryers at the end of each day
• Ensure preventive maintenance of all laundry equipment is carried out with proper documentation
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the laundry area
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer
