You will help set up venues, arrange floral displays, coordinate transportation, and guide attendees with empathy.

The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and a valid driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in funeral services or related fields is advantageous.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is beneficial for transportation responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet service demands.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• High level of empathy, compassion, and professionalism to support families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and breaking down funeral venues, arranging floral displays and ceremonial items to create a respectful environment
• Manage transportation logistics for the deceased between locations to ensure timely and dignified transfers
• Deliver compassionate, respectful support to grieving families to ease their experience during difficult times
• Support funeral services by guiding attendees and assisting with ceremonial duties to maintain smooth proceedings
• Maintain and prepare funeral service equipment and vehicles to ensure readiness and safety
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations throughout funeral operations
• Execute additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of funeral services
