Job summary

SPD LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated care driver to transport clients to rehabilitation and day care centres. You will support ambulation, monitor basic health indicators, and assist with daily activities, while upholding infection control norms.

The role requires a Class 3 driving licence, physical fitness, and potential weekend shifts. Training will be provided to ensure safe, compassionate care for clients.

Qualifications

• GCE O/N Levels or equivalent.
• Experience in patient care is advantageous.
• Basic caregiving knowledge or healthcare certification benefits.
• Able to perform basic emergency procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ferry clients to and from home and centre for rehab programmes.
• Assist clients with ambulation and transfers in centre and during transport.
• Conduct basic health checks (temperature, vitals).
• Assist with prescribed exercises, individually or in groups.
• Provide support for basic needs (toileting, meals).
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements for programme needs.
• Report progress to Supervisor and assist with attendance/incident reporting.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance; report malfunctions.
• Ensure safety in driving and client care; follow safety regulations.
