Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking candidates for the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) Community Animal Management Division in Singapore. The role focuses on addressing public feedback on pet and community animal issues, conducting inspections, and enforcing regulations to safeguard animal welfare and public health.

As part of the First Responder team, you will work with stakeholders, participate in community projects and coordinate tasks to promote animal well-being while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Area of studies in Veterinary Science, Biological Science, Zoology, Ecology, Life Science or related science discipline.
• Team player with initiative, drive and good interpersonal/communication skills who is able to work independently.
• Possesses good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
• Willing to work at weekends and after office hours.

Responsibilities

• Address and manage public feedback on pet and community animal-related issues, including inspections and enforcement.
• Participate in community projects and coordinate work to promote animal well-being and health while safeguarding public safety.
