Job summary

Adecco, partnering with a leading global bank, seeks a Strategy Communications Manager for a 12-month contract in Singapore. You will lead customer, leadership, internal, and external communications around business transformation and strategic change.

You will craft narratives, engage senior stakeholders, manage media relations and social media, and drive consistent messaging across channels to support the bank's strategy.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, PR, employee communications or content roles.
• Knowledge and experience in financial services is an advantage.
• Ability to influence, engage and negotiate with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills, able to manage ambiguity and deadlines.
• Exceptional content skills: storytelling and clear, engaging written content.
• Multi-media skills including video editing and social media content creation.
• Experience with media relations and crises is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.
• Collaborative, proactive and growth-minded with international perspective.

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with a leading global bank to look for a Strategy Communications Manager
• This will start off as a 12-month contract role

The Job

• Customer Communications: Develop, manage and deliver integrated customer communications plans for business transformation and strategic change programmes, provide governance to ensure message consistency across all channels and audience.
• Leadership Communications: Drive and execute internal and external engagements for senior stakeholders. This can include content development and speech writing, opinion articles, internal notes and social media. The output will ensure a strong share of voice in Singapore media and excellent engagement on social media, aligned to the bank's strategy.
• Internal Communications: Partner the business teams to develop and execute a two-way communications programme and engaging content that ensures our teams feel connected to our strategy and thematic priorities; manage change, and embed culture. Deliver internal content, campaigns, and success stories to the bank's employee, and promote wins on global channels.
• External communications: Drive coherent and sustained narratives, build media relationships, and create media stories, briefs and speeches that effectively profile the bank's strategy and priorities.
• Issues management: Manage crisis communications, ensuring that the bank's reputation is safeguarded during challenging situations, with development and execution of crisis management plans and supporting customer communications.

The Talent

• 10 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, PR, employee communications or content roles at an agency or in-house.
• Knowledge and experience working in the financial services industry is an advantage.
• Proven ability to influence, engage and negotiate with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor is a must.
• Strong experience in project management and multi-tasking. Proven ability to deal with ambiguity, a matrixed organisation and high-pressure situations with deadlines is essential.
• Exceptional content skills: storytelling, proven ability to produce clear, engaging written content and an ability to create social media content.
• Multi-media skills including video editing and social media content creation.
• Experience with media is an advantage, including dealing with crises, supporting with proactive media relations activity, and social media management is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills are a must.
• A sharp focus on operating as one-team, with a collaborative, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute is of the utmost importance.
• Strategic thinking and strong execution ability, proactive, international and growth mindset will be essential.
