Job summary

Moomoo, a leading digital brokerage, is building a Corporate Affairs function in Singapore. The Communications Lead/Specialist will shape corporate storytelling, strengthen external profile and stakeholder influence, reporting to the Regional Head of Corporate Affairs.

The role spans strategic communications, media relations, executive positioning, thought leadership, digital content, events and issues management in a fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, business, finance or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in strategic communications from agency or corporate, preferably with finance/markets background.
  • Familiar with financial products and services.
  • Strong network with business, financial, investing, lifestyle and tech media across Singapore and regions.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

  • Thought leadership and stakeholder engagement: develop initiatives aligned with business strategy and translate complex topics into accessible content.
  • Media relations and executive positioning: manage media relationships, identify opportunities and support senior leaders with interviews and briefings.
  • Corporate communications: ensure consistent messaging and care for corporate identity across channels and touchpoints; manage crisis readiness.
  • Issues management and advisory: work across strategy, execution and admin details with strong judgment in sensitive situations.

Communications Manager, Singapore

The Communications Lead/Specialist will be a core team member responsible for shaping and advancing Moomoo's corporate storytelling in Singapore to strengthen the brand's external profile, corporate reputation and stakeholder influence. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that spans strategic communications, media relations, executive positioning, thought leadership, digital content, events and issues management. Reporting to the Regional Head of Corporate Affairs, this team member will be part of a wider regional CA team spanning Communications, Strategic Partnerships and Investor Education.

The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, trusted adviser and disciplined operator who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution. They should have the tenacity, maturity and resilience to manage a broad portfolio of work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight timelines and with senior stakeholders. This role will suit someone who thrives in ambiguity, has strong judgment, and is prepared to roll up their sleeves across both high-level advisory work and detailed execution.

Responsibilities

The key areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Thought Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
  • With guidance from the Regional Head of Corporate Affairs, work closely with the various functional teams to develop thought leadership and stakeholder engagement initiatives in key narrative territories aligned with the business strategy
  • Translate complex technical, financial and investing-related topics into accessible, persuasive and credible content for diverse audiences
  • Support the development and amplification of bylines, perspectives, speeches, commentaries and other knowledge products
  • Identify opportunities for Moomoo to participate in high-quality speaking engagements, forums, convenings and industry platforms that advance its strategic objectives
Media relations and Executive Positioning
  • Lead and manage media relations on an ongoing basis, including proactive media engagement, identify and expand media network, good acumen and insights on what makes a good story, interview preparation, messaging, media monitoring and issues response
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leading local, regional and international business, financial and capital markets, lifestyle, and technology media
  • Proactively identify top tier media opportunities for local CEO and/or other subject matter experts and spokespeople to build Moomoo's reputation and profile
  • Support senior leadership team on external-facing engagements, including media interviews, speeches, panels, op-eds, briefing materials and stakeholder communications
  • Exercise sound judgment in managing reputational matters, sensitive announcements and complex stakeholder situations
Corporate Communications
  • Support corporate announcements and other relevant internal communications.
  • Manage corporate messaging across external and internal channels, ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment with Moomoo's brand, values and business priorities
  • Serve as a custodian of Moomoo's corporate identity, tone of voice and communication standards across all platforms, materials and stakeholder touchpoints
  • Exercise good judgment call on approach, timing, volume, content, with a strategic view on what makes sense to execute and what to skip or dial back on etc
  • Issues management and crisis preparedness, with guidance from global and regional to ensure local readiness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary qualification in communications, journalism, business, finance or a related discipline
  • At least 7-10 years of working experience in strategic communications from agency or corporate, media relations, journalism, preferred candidates with working experience in finance, securities and insurance industries
  • Familiar with financial products and services
  • A strong network of business, financial, investing, lifestyle and technology media contacts across Singapore, the region and international markets
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics without losing nuance or credibility
  • Well-developed business communication skills, ability to express thoughts verbally, exercise judgment call, ability to teamwork across departments
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
  • Hands-on, resourceful and results-oriented, with the willingness to operate across strategy, execution and administrative detail where required
  • High ethical standards, strong problem-solving ability and the discretion to handle confidential or sensitive matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
