Job summary

NCS is a leading AI Tech Services company in Asia Pacific, inviting Diploma graduates to join the Fusion Poly Graduate Programme in Singapore. The role covers fault, configuration, administration, and performance management of network systems, offering hands-on learning and exposure across projects, clients, and centres of excellence.

Ideal candidates are Diploma holders with up to two years' experience, possess a positive attitude, and enjoy teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science or related IT/Engineering fields.
• Diploma Graduate with less than two years of relevant working experience.
• Positive attitude and strong collaboration skills are desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network alarms, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with the Maintenance Agency, provide updates to users, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate physical and logical configuration records, support network reconfiguration, and report unauthorised changes.
• Handle end-user queries, communicate outages and maintenance activities, maintain documentation, and manage reports.
• Collect and analyse network statistics, monitor reliability and maintainability, and suggest improvements to optimise performance.
• Safeguard physical and logical security, monitor unauthorised access, and report security breaches.
• Support project planning, testing, implementation of new services, and deployment of new user terminals.
• Provide technical and operational advice, support business continuity planning, and conduct ad hoc studies on capacity.
• Assist with log retrieval, support major events, and manage reporting for missing terminals.
• Diagnose equipment faults, manage configuration and data removal, and prepare repaired equipment for return.
• Provide Level 1 application and backend support and escalate to vendors for Level 2 support.

What will you do?

• Fault Management: Monitor network alarms, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with the Maintenance Agency (MA), provide updates to users, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure backup/restore of NMS data.
• Configuration Management: Maintain accurate physical and logical configuration records, manage terminal numbering plans, support network reconfiguration, and report unauthorised changes.
• Administration Management: Handle end-user queries, communicate outages and maintenance activities, maintain documentation, manage reports, and track equipment movement and inventory.
• Performance Management: Collect and analyse network statistics, monitor reliability/availability/maintainability, track MA response performance, and recommend improvements to optimise network performance.
• Security Management: Safeguard physical and logical security of systems, monitor unauthorised access, manage password controls, support terminal security, and report or recommend actions on security breaches.
• Project Support: Support project planning, testing, implementation of new services, and deployment of new user terminals.
• Consultancy Services: Provide technical and operational advice, support business continuity planning, and conduct ad hoc studies on network capacity and capability.
• General Support Management: Support special operations, develop and validate network recovery procedures, assist with log retrieval, support major events, and manage reporting for missing terminals.
• User Equipment (UE) Management: Diagnose equipment faults, manage configuration and data removal, perform firmware/software restoration, remote wipe, and prepare repaired equipment for return to users.
• Application Management: Provide Level 1 application and backend support, including troubleshooting, reinstalls, checks on server/connectivity issues, and escalation to vendors for Level 2 support.
