Commodities MNC: Finance Data Specialist Accounting Process (Python/SQL/VBA)

THE COMPANY

With their international and solid presence, this Commodities MNC is expanding and are seeking for a Finance Data Specialist to be part of the Operations team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand the current Accounting processes and workflow

2. Handle Accounting duties including month-end closing (Adjustments, GL, journal entries and accruals)

3. Automate and streamline Accounting duties (Data-entry, reconciliations and reporting)

4. Document automation initiatives

5. Conduct training for the finance team

6. Work closely with other relevant departments (Finance, IT teams etc)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Accounting/Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics/Commerce or any other relevant education

2. Minimum 1 year of hands-on Accounting process automation

3. Knowledge in SAP/other ERP systems and Advanced Excel (VBA, Macros, Power Query)

4. Experience in Python and SQL for data automation

5. Organized, meticulous, has good interpersonal and communication skills
