Job Title: Commodities Futures Trader Sugar & Hedging SpecialistJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Commodities Futures Trader with a specialized focus on sugar markets and hedging strategies for physical positions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and executing futures trades across multiple online platforms, leveraging technical analysis (charts, graphs) and fundamental market insights to optimize trading strategies and mitigate risk in volatile markets.Key Responsibilities: Futures Trading & Execution:o Execute daily trades in sugar and related commodity futures through various online trading platforms.o Monitor and adjust positions in real time to capitalize on market movements and manage risk effectively. Hedging Physical Positions:o Develop and implement hedging strategies to safeguard physical commodity holdings against price volatility.o Analyze the interplay between physical commodity markets and futures markets to ensure effective risk management. Market Analysis & Research:o Perform technical analysis using charts, graphs, and other market indicators to identify trading opportunities.o Stay current with global supply and demand trends, weather patterns, geopolitical events, and policy changes impacting commodity markets.o Integrate fundamental analysis to assess market sentiment and macroeconomic influences affecting the sugar sector. Risk Management:o Develop robust risk management protocols to minimize losses and optimize returns.o Regularly review and update risk metrics and position limits in response to evolving market conditions. Reporting & Documentation:o Maintain detailed records of trade executions, positions, and performance.o Prepare regular reports and updates for management and stakeholders, highlighting key trends, performance metrics, and risk exposures.
