Commissioning Manager (FPSO/ Project Management)

12-Month Contract

Location: Tuas

Work Schedule: 60hrs/6days

Our client is one of the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas companies. They are actively looking for Commissioning Manager to join their team.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Planning and field execution coordination of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Provides review of Contractor deliverables as well as oversight of project team commissioning and systems completion personnel over a site or Contractor scope.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Familiarity with all technical disciplines with excellent technical background within Oil & Gas processing, Rotating Equipment, Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls.
2. Familiarity with Engineering and/or Construction management including key interdependencies with systems completion processes and activities.
3. Capability to plan activities with complex interdependencies.
4. Collaboration with Contractor/s to ensure requirements for commissioning activities are clearly understood and adhered to.
5. Leadership to ensure project priorities of safety, quality, and schedule are achieved; includes a high level of assertiveness to ensure effective communication and influencing of Engineering, Construction and Operations functions on the Project Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and coordinate all site commissioning and performance test activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and uphold company HSE standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with the Project HSSE Manager.
• Provide Commissioning close out report.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Management experience within the industry and discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Discipline appropriate certification(s), or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in Work Management Systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills through previous supervisory position, team leader position, engineering lead position or other leadership positions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management.
• Good facilitator with the ability to build consensus in areas of contention while enhancing working relationships; having a high level of assertiveness to ensure commissioning status, issues and concerns are effectively communicated laterally and vertically in the organization.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
• Knowledgeable of Project Completions activities and typical commissioning practices including typical Systems Completion Database software (e.g., WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, Orbit).
