As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance by setting targets, leading a retail team, and implementing effective strategies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The position also involves staff management, budget control and campaign execution.

The Talent

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline
  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in sales or sales leadership, with a strong track record of performance.
  • Experienced in luxury retail industry is an added advantage
  • Skilled in leading sales teams and crafting effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent, and tracking sales KPIs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence and negotiate across various levels.
  • Proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • Capable of closing high-value deals and managing client negotiations confidently.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
  • Experienced in developing and nurturing a pipeline of clients and strategic partners.
  • Well-versed in current market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor insights relevant to the business.
  • A motivational leader with the ability to drive teams toward and beyond performance goals.

The Job

  • Define sales goals, plan strategic initiatives, interpret performance metrics, and lead the team toward achieving targets.
  • Roll out sales campaigns, manage discount activities, and align efforts with the marketing team.
  • Administer financial planning, monitor spending, and ensure accurate cash operations.
  • Compile business reports, evaluate KPIs, and drive continuous performance enhancements.
  • Source, onboard, coordinate schedules, and review the performance of sales personnel and supervisors.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, handle client concerns, and continuously improve the in-store experience.
  • Supervise inventory management, visual merchandising, and product flow.
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, legal regulations, and safety standards.
  • Build a cohesive team environment, address conflicts constructively, and serve as a role model.
  • Keep up with market and product updates and provide relevant training to team members.
