Overview

This is a well-established energy company with a strong asset base. Due to business needs, they are looking for a Commercial Sales Executive to drive petroleum sales by identifying business leads, preparing proposals, and managing key customer accounts.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by securing and expanding customer accounts, ensuring financial stability through effective credit and payment management, and providing market insights and strategic support to enhance the company’s competitive edge. The role also involves supporting value-added logistics requirements and preparing quotations and tender documentation to facilitate business development.

Responsibilities
  • Drive petroleum sales by identifying business leads and securing new opportunities.
  • Expand and manage key customer accounts to achieve growth targets.
  • Ensure financial stability through effective credit and payment management.
  • Provide market insights and strategic support to enhance competitive edge.
  • Support value-added logistics requirements and prepare quotations and tender documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial sales of commodity products (chemicals, bunker fuel, or gas).
  • Knowledge of the energy market in Singapore is a plus.
  • Skilled in analysis, presentations, and project management within tender-focused environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
