The Opportunity:
My client is an wellknown O&G player with a forefront of shaping a more sustainable future by actively driving global initiatives in the energy transition space. The company is committed to enabling the shift from traditional fuels to low-carbon and renewable energy sources. Their strategic focus includes supporting new energy value chains - such as hydrogen, biofuels, and ammonia-while modernizing infrastructure to meet evolving environmental standards.
The Job:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts and potential clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and pursue leads to grow the company's market presence in the region.
- Understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Support the development and execution of regional commercial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and commercial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Lead initiatives to enhance commercial excellence, focusing on customer value, responsiveness, and innovation.
- Negotiate, finalize, and manage contracts, ensuring terms are commercially viable and aligned with company policies.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth contract execution and administration.
- Monitor contract performance and manage renewals, amendments, and dispute resolutions.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Provide actionable recommendations to maintain competitive advantage and capture market opportunities.
- Work closely with Operations, HSSE, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support business-related projects, including terminal expansions, tank modifications, and service enhancements.
- Act as the key commercial interface between customers and internal teams for project coordination.
- Analyze deviations from budget forecasts and propose corrective actions
The Talent:
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree
- More than 5 years' related experience in O&G, petrochemical sales environment (e.g. O&G operator, raw material supplier, trading house)
- Good knowledge of petroleum products and its supply chain will be an advantage
- Sales hunter mindset to identify new business opportunity
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills. Has also strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage customer interface at senior management level
- Ability to function well in stressful situations and take responsibility for decisions made
