Job description

  • Position: Commercial Manager/Head of Sales [FMCG/Kitchenware/Retail Industry]
  • Location: Toh Guan Rd
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7000 + Transport Claims + Variable Bonus + 18 Days Annual Leave
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Wholesale Distribution in FMCG/Retail industry

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Regional Sales Plan: Create a plan aligned with the overall sales strategy for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, and Indonesia.
  • Optimize Services and Operations: Identify opportunities to enhance sales and business expansion, and address operational challenges.
  • Acquire New Customers: Promote company products and services through presentations and sales calls.
  • Manage Customer Portfolio: Align with company policies and monitor expiring quotations and contracts.
  • Monitor Customer Demands: Recognize shifts in customer demands and take proactive and corrective actions.
  • Manage Marketing and Sales: Achieve sales and profit objectives for the portfolio, and manage marketing needs for company brands.
  • Build Relationships with Key Principals: Ensure their objectives are met and establish good relationships.
  • Plan Staffing Needs: Ensure good customer service and establish internal relationships.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Provide notice on inventory and A&P expenses needs to manage cash flow and inventory.
  • Analyze Competitors and Position Products: Conduct regular analysis to inform the planning process.
  • Other ad-hoc activities assigned.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma Holder
  • Min 3 Years of relevant experience in FMCG/Retail Industry preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
