Commercial Manager (Chartering & Business Development)

We're seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead our chartering and business development initiatives in the offshore oil and gas sector. The role involves expanding our fleet's reach, identifying new opportunities, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  1. Market and tender for vessel services, gathering market intelligence in the offshore O&G sector.
  2. Develop market requirements for current and future services through research.
  3. Collaborate closely with the Operations team, serving as the commercial focal point for project execution support.
  4. Arrange meetings with potential clients, brokers, and agents.
  5. Prepare management reports for forecasting and strategic decision-making.
  6. Monitor and report on sales and marketing activities regularly.
  7. Lead multi-platform marketing efforts for AHTS, AHT, and PSVs in the O&G market.
  8. Identify opportunities for cross-chartering third-party vessels to increase revenue.
  9. Research and provide insights on HR, legislation, culture, and costs in new markets.
  10. Manage post-chartering activities, including disputes and collections.
  11. Willingness to travel and work with a global team.
  12. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Marine discipline, Business, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel as required.
