About the company

Our client is a Europe-based global FMCG brand and they are seeking for a self-driven Commercial Finance Business Partner to lead strategic financial initiatives and support growth across Southeast Asia.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as the lead commercial finance business partner across SEA markets, supporting business planning, promotions, and ROI assessments.

• Oversee P&L performance analysis by market/category, providing insights to drive strategic decisions.

• Drive working capital optimization and DSO improvements across SEA.

• Lead pricing reviews, trade terms analysis, and implementation of regional pricing strategies.

• Collaborate across functions (marketing, sales, demand planning) to optimize trade investments and align spend with business priorities.

• Lead Singapore market financials, including planning, forecasting, and inventory performance review.

• Ensure statutory compliance, audit readiness, and accurate financial reporting, in collaboration with SEA Accounting Controller.

• Manage monthly forecasts, budget cycles, and conduct regular business reviews with SEA leadership.

• Build and develop a team of four direct reports, supporting talent development and regional finance transformation.

• Contribute to regional projects, innovation business cases, and support cross-border finance collaboration across Asia & ANZ.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with professional certifications preferred.

• Minimum 12 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in commercial finance leadership supporting a country or regional GM.

• Strong knowledge of SEA accounting standards and tax regulations, with hands-on experience across regional markets.

• Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage data and navigate financial systems effectively.

• Strategic yet hands-on, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; thrives in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
