The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering and experience in ship repair costing. This position involves engaging subcontractors, producing accurate quotations, and maintaining records of job statuses.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial responsibilities (including costing and sales) for maintenance tasks related to clients' vessels and assets.
• Produce accurate, realistic, and timely quotations and cost estimates for inquiries and job requests from clients. Coordinate with SRM/Production teams for awarded jobs.
• Identify and engage subcontractors for specialized and labor-intensive tasks.
• Facilitate communication between the owner's representative and yard Production regarding job quotations.
• Maintain monthly records of contract-out job statuses for maintenance orders. Manage the registration of new subcontractors in the system and update their status as required.
• Generate subcontractor work orders upon confirmation of purchase orders from clients. Collaborate with SRM/Production teams on jobs awarded by clients

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any marine, electrical, mechanical engineering or related
• Must have previous experience in ship repair / ship build projects costing.
• East and West Locations are available.
