Job description

Primary Function

Responsible as Commercial Excellence Director APAC and APAC management team for providing tools and analysis that support business analysis and strategic direction on key programs such as:

  • Economic Profitability
  • Integrated Business Planning
  • Pricing Management and Monitoring
  • Contract and Tender Management
  • Sales Force Effectiveness - Aspen and Domo
  • Distributor Management
  • Ad Hoc Business Analysis Needs

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the business unit, supporting the affiliates' commercial organization in growing the AM business, and be involved in marketing and business development to identify new product and market opportunities within AM’s existing businesses in a specific geographic area.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies and tactics for the business unit across a designated geography.
  • Identify new business opportunities through expansion of existing products to maximize market potential.
  • Support Commercial organizations including Marketing, Sales, and Service in achieving their objectives.
  • Interface regularly with the country sales and marketing teams to coordinate efforts such as studies, meetings, symposiums, customer engagements, and trade shows to grow sales and profitability.
  • Lead the development and rollout of Economic Profitability (EP) initiatives in APAC, providing support to management and countries with EP-related queries.
  • Monitor EP progress across APAC countries, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation and follow-up.
  • Provide regular feedback on EP progress in focus countries.
  • Work with the commercial analyst and financial controller to set up and run monthly IBP reviews, analyze data, and ensure follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with division requirements for IBP and promote continuous improvement of IBP metrics.
  • Assist in detailed analysis of problematic areas and develop sustainable improvement ideas.
  • Collaborate with division and APAC management to roll out a pricing standardization tool, provide training, monitor for improvements, and implement changes as approved.
  • Develop new product commercial models and pricing strategies in collaboration with Marketing to align with marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate and develop methodologies or tools for contract management and tender management, ensuring accessibility and monitoring mechanisms to analyze success and failure factors.
  • Analyze sales force effectiveness using Aspen and Domo data monthly to help regional directors and countries focus on the right accounts and contacts.
  • Define key KPIs to facilitate understanding, quick issue identification, and effective decision-making.
  • Drive distribution performance excellence through AMD’s partners, ensuring compliance with global policies and strategies.
  • Support APAC management with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements
