Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and realistic estimates for jobs as required in tender bids
  • Source suitable subcontractors for specialized jobs and complex work
  • Prepare accurate and detailed invoicing to achieve fair and better contribution margins
  • Liaise with Shiprepair Manager and Project Supervisor on all quoted and additional jobs
  • Assist the Commercial Manager or his designate in discussions regarding invoices for completed projects with Owner Representatives
  • Assess subcontractors' invoices, discuss with relevant parties, and conclude bill settlements within the target timeframe

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture related studies
  • Preferably 2 years of working experience in a Shipyard or Marine-related industry, but not a must
  • Possess understanding of estimation and costing for projects
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project if possible
  • Knowledge in SAP, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is advantageous

  • Location: 55 Gul Road (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5-day work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25 am to 5.00 pm
