Commercial Director

Our client is a fast-growing Fintech business with multiple offices. They are currently seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in the cash management and trade finance industry to join their team in Singapore to grow their P&L and commercial team. This role is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

1. Taking full ownership of the P&L and leading the commercial teams.
2. Setting objectives and growth plans to ensure alignment with business goals.
3. Building partnerships with banks and other financial institutions for client referrals and market expansion.
4. Maximizing revenue from key accounts through own or network channels.
5. Ensuring compliance with all business and regulatory standards.
6. Developing and executing strategic plans to expand product offerings and enhance sales performance.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance and at least 15+ years of experience in Trade Finance or Cash Management.
2. A strong network within the banking industry and experience dealing with SME and MNC businesses in trade finance/payment matters.
3. Excellent B2B business development experience with a proven track record in building and managing relationships.
4. Prior experience in leading teams is essential.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
