Vistar Media seeks an experienced Commercial Director in Singapore, responsible for driving business growth in Southeast Asia. This role involves managing a team, building relationships with agencies, and pioneering the adoption of programmatic DOOH technologies. Vistar Media is looking for an experienced Commercial Director, based in Singapore, to drive the greater SEA business and manage a team across Southeast Asia. The candidate, reporting into the Managing Director, APAC (based in Sydney), will build on relationships with major agencies, trading desks, media owners and data partners to further establish the Vistar brand in SEA markets. The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically and work independently whilst also being a team player, helping to maintain the Vistar culture both internally and externally. A key element to the role is ensuring that the Vistar brand and suite of products (DSP, SSP, CMS) is known throughout SEA markets. Driving revenue via both direct and programmatic channels is imperative. The role is entrepreneurial and the candidate should be ready for hard work and to get involved in whatever comes their way, whilst we continue to grow the team.
Grow the Vistar brand in the region
Identify new revenue streams, and actively grow business with current and prospective clients
Plan and manage the annual business revenue plan for Southeast Asia
Support Programmatic DOOH adoption from both advertisers and media owners in the region
Manage a high performing team based in Southeast Asia
Present business reviews to both clients and internal stakeholders
Respond to large scale RFPs from existing and potential clients
Act as a voice of the customer, sharing feedback with relevant internal stakeholders to improve offering and drive further revenue
Travel to attend partner meetings across the region
Build a deep understanding of the Vistar Media platform and evangelise the value it provides partners
Be a visible presence at out-of-home and ad-tech industry events and trade organisation initiatives
8+ years of experience leading sales and commercial teams in Singapore and across Southeast Asia
10+ years of experience working in ad-tech and/or in digital-out-of-home
Knowledge of and experience in programmatic technology
Experience scaling a business in Southeast Asia
Strong relationships with holding company/Tier 1 level agencies, top brands, and programmatic partners
Strong track record of rapidly scaling businesses above market
Entrepreneurial, get things done mentality
Comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment
Possess strong commercial acumen and corporate communication skills
